Hello. My name is Rachel.

I’m a creative explorer, amateur project manager, and pursuer of all ‘fun facts.’

I'm a graduate from the graphic design program at Iowa State University. Originally from New Hampshire, I'm currently living in the Washington, DC area, and I've fallen in love with it (but not with the humidity). 

I’m currently working at the local Crate & Barrel doing visual merchandising. It’s a great combination of my passion for visuals and my mind for business. Helping a customer find just the right solution for their problem makes any day worth it.

I’m working towards transitioning my career to a more project management focused track within the creative marketing industry. I’ve realized that my strengths lie in encouraging and helping amazing teams to create amazing results.

When I’m not at work making the store look beautiful, you can find me at home (I’m a huge homebody). I’ll probably be baking something delicious, with an iced coffee in hand, and watching a crime show (my favorites are Law & Order and Criminal Minds). If I’m not at home, I’m probably on a long drive into Virginia to find an antique store to browse or sitting on a patio in DC enjoying drinks with some friends.

I believe that I'll always be trying to discovering who I am as a designer and as an employee, so I'm always working as hard as I can to learn all that I can. If you would like to talk about hiring me for a position click here (thank you!).
